During the post-race interview, Steven shared how challenging and demanding the past few weeks had been as he worked tirelessly to adapt to the new GT3 McLaren tyres. He openly admitted it was incredibly tough and disheartening at times watching his Safety Rating (SR) and iRating (iR) take a noticeable hit. However, after dedicating countless hours to rigorous practice sessions and pushing through numerous competitive races, his unwavering perseverance and determination finally paid off. Taking the McLaren to victory lane here at Spa feels deeply satisfying and incredibly rewarding, he said with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
